Doug and Helen Simpson began construction of Albany Retirement Village in
1994. They completed the 33 bedroom home in 4 phases over 10 years.
Helen was raised with her family in a small retirement home. Before construction of Albany she was involved with her mother for 13 years prior at Garfield Manor Retirement Home. Doug's roots are from Dawn Township, he was raised on a farm
and continued to farm until 1994.

Our three children have grown with the business and have had experience
volunteering and working at Albany over the years. The people who make
Albany a success are our conscientious, responsible, caring staff. Jackie joined our team on a part time basis and brings with her 20 years of Registered Nursing Experience.

Mature adults have made their home with us for short respite stays,
convalescent stays, vacation and palliative stays. Our longest stay being
18 years. We are flex able and are able to cater to each persons individual
needs.
